Playsheet v0.3!


Version v0.3! Because I wanted to streamline demons and introduce more stressful decision making.

  1. Replaced CHA & INT with PSY & VIT: I could foresee INT being a kind of dump stat for anyone not interested in using magic, so I lumped it into CHA like I was originally thinking about. Then, I differentiated the strength aspect of STR from its health aspect, and made the VIT stat. This means that when you level up, you have to decide between attacking faster, attacking stronger, taking more hits, or doing charming/magical things better.
  2. Magic Points Apply to YOUR Moves: I did not like having to keep track of multiple possible characters at once. Demons now apply their Magic Dice to your HD, representing your character and their demon fighting together as one. This also allows a lot more player-side interpretation. Maybe your demon helped you guide your sword to your opponent’s weakspot, or you commanded them to shoot a lightning bolt. Demons also basically act like an HP shield for when you’re attacked, except that if they lose too much HP they’ll get pissed and break the pact. Don’t take advantage of their kindness!

I think that these changes will lead to much more interesting decision making!
