Build v0.1.3
Hi all! I’ve been out of town for the past week. I’ve implemented the changes to how peeps work, which is all mostly backend, and did some structural refactoring to make my code nicer. You can now also hover over ‘habitats’ (city centers and suburbs) to see how many peeps live there and how much housing or how many vagrants you have (a cute way to display that statistic, I guess).
I’ve also started working on a new economic system. Currently, it’s resources which have their own supply and demand. My hope is to replace this with a system of goods and needs, having a many-to-many relationship. This will pave the way to introduce more goods and view their valuation through a more critical lens (have you read my Capital For Dummies?). This may end up being a statistical mess but I figured it’d be worth a shot! Worst case, I’ll just go back to the simpler system.
I also fixed an issue with rivers seemingly not spawning anymore? And the coastlines have been fucked up this whole time. All that is fixed now.

The link to Capital for Dummies is not accessible. I presume that it should link here: https://traversefantasy.itch.io/mini-capital-for-dummies
thank you for catching that!
